The Student/Parent Handbook contains all the important information needed for a successful school year, including information about the dress code, academic requirements, behavior policies and more.

Herron-Riverside High School utilizes a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. Herron-Riverside High School encourages families to provide an appropriate personal tablet or laptop; however, the school does have a limited number of tablets/keyboards that will be available for rent to families unable to provide their student with an appropriate device.
If you live in any of the following situations:
- In a Shelter
- In a Motel or campground due to lack of accommodation
- In a car, park, abandoned building or bus/train station
- Doubled up with other people due to loss of housing or economic hardship
You may qualify for certain rights and protections under the federal McKinney-Vento Act.
